“A photograph isn’t a photograph until it’s a print.” At the heart of our workshops is a belief in the importance of the physical photograph. Printing is not an afterthought—it is where intention, interpretation, and craft come together.
Throughout the year, we offer a range of workshops, both online and in our studio, that explore photography from technical foundations to visual and expressive considerations. These workshops are designed to foster a supportive, engaged environment, welcoming both seasoned photographers and those new to the medium.
Our programs encourage photographers to engage more deeply with their work through thoughtful editing, printing, and presentation. In addition to group workshops, we also offer personalized one-on-one sessions. These tailored classes are shaped around your individual goals, questions, and working process.

Winter 2026
The Color Print: is an introductory workshop designed to help photographers learn how a color print should look—and how to achieve it consistently. Emphasis is placed on understanding the visual language of a print, rather than simply applying presets or technical fixes. Participants will explore how intentional decisions translate from screen to paper, and how to evaluate a print on its own terms.
Working in Photoshop and Lightroom, participants will use adjustment tools and techniques to refine exposure, contrast, color balance, learning how each choice influences the visual impact of the final print. Each week, participants will submit both prints and files for group review.
This hands-on, print-centered approach makes the connection between screen and print unmistakably clear, allowing participants to see—directly and practically—how specific adjustments affect the finished photograph and to develop a more confident, repeatable approach to making strong color prints.

Refining the Print: Refining the Print aims to elevate participants’ print quality by focusing on the artistic aspects rather than the technical aspects of printing. In this workshop, you’ll receive guidance on analyzing your printing files and prints using tools like Photoshop and Lightroom. Instead of getting lost in the intricacies of the software, the emphasis will be on understanding how subtle adjustments in density, contrast, and color can profoundly impact the visual appeal of their images.
Each week, participants will submit their prints and files files for review. This hands-on approach allows participants to see firsthand how different adjustments affect the final outcome of their prints. By dedicating time to scrutinize the print itself, participants will gain insights into the artistic nuances that can breathe life into their photographs.
The workshop’s approach encourages a deeper appreciation for the craft of printing and empowers participants to take their prints to the next level of refinement and aesthetic quality.
