There are a lot of events on the calendar for the end of March and April which I hope you’ll be able to attend.
Saturday, March 31st: The Gallery UPSTAIRS will be hosting a Gallery Talk with Rowland Scherman and Justin Garvin. Our current show, TRAVELIN’: Images from US 11, consists of photographs from both Rowland and Justin’s personal projects documenting this iconic highway. A preview of TRAVELIN’ is available on the Gallery Page.
Thursday, April 5th: I’ll be at the Cultural Center of Cape Cod for an evening entitled Photography; The Good and the Bad. What should be a lively discussion, it isn’t about good or bad photographs, it’s more about good or bad processes.
Saturday, April 14th: Also at the Cultural Center I’ll be having a one-day workshop, Intro to Digital Printing. Digital printing is not as simple as buying the equipment and pushing the button. This one day intensive class is for those who have pushed that button or those who may. You’ll learn a simple “work-flow” to get you going, and participate in a discussion of where you go from here.
Thursday, April 19: Salon Nights at The Gallery UPSTAIRS will begin. This program is for photographers who are looking for an alternative to the typical photography club. Salon Nights are an opportunity for a group of like-minded photographers to have open discussion and critique of their work. If you’re interested in attending Salon Nights, please let us know by emailing email@example.com or calling 508-255-5202.
Saturday, April 28: Bob Korn Imaging and The Gallery UPSTAIRS will be hosting two events for ASMP New England. I’ll be offering a printing demo and discussion on file “development” and the finer points of the print from 10:30 am – 2:00 pm. The Opening of the ASMP Member’s Show will be from 3:00 – 6:00 pm. If you’re interested in ASMP New England, the Printing Workshop or Members Show visit their Website or give me a call.
