We’re working on a dates for a Gallery Talk with David and it’s looking like the end of August or beginning of September.  I’ll let you know as soon as it’s set.  Also the show will be up through September, so make your plans to come on by.  The gallery is open Tuesday thru Friday, 11 – 4, or by appointment.  As always call 508-255-5202 with any questions.

August is here and it’s HOT!  The A/C is always on at The Gallery UPSTAIRS, so if you find yourself in Orleans and need to cool off, stop on by.  The David Burnett show is something not to be missed and those who have seen it are amazed at the world events that David has covered.

This Thursday, July 26 is SALON NIGHT, 6 – 8.  We’re getting more and more participants each month with great discussions about everyone’s work.  If you’re looking to exlpore and expand your photography, Salon Nights are a great place to start.

Elin Spring writes one of the best photography blogs and she just released her Best Photo Shows for this summer, and we’re on the list.

Short notice for Salon Night but it’s tomorrow, June 28, 6-8pm.  Each night gets more and more interesting and seeing the growth in everyone’s imagery is really great.  All are welcome so I hope you can make it.

Been a bit busy for updates getting the next show, David Burnett: Through His Lens, printed for the opening on Thursday, July 12.  Our next SALON NIGHT is coming up on June 28th at 6:00 pm.  The salon’s have been growing and the conversation has been exciting and informative.  The current show, The Cape’s Tip, is up till July 10th.  Our next newsletter will be out soon and if you haven’t signed up to receive it, just fill out your address on our contact page.

Opening on Thursday May 31, 6-8 pm, photographers Dan Larkin and Jane Paradise bring their camera’s steadfast yet compassionate eye to their exhibit The Cape’s Tip: Images of the Outer Cape.  Their photographs capture the spirit and quiet beauty of the outer Cape, the landscape that they have called home.  Their ability to capture a moment in the life of the outer cape informs all of the pieces in this exhibit.

We hope you’ll join us to enjoy the images and to meet and visit with Dan and Jane.
